Learning Daily - Hemingway and Dinosaur Sex...
I have said it many times, but maybe not on this blog, one of the most valuable things I ever learned in my college career, was from a professor who said, if you do anything in your life, learn one new thing each and every day. Since then, I have always tried to do that. So, I want to start sharing that with you. Today, I actually did two things. I don't always seek out to learn new things, unless something isnt just presenting itself to me. Today, two things did. Ernest Hemingway A co-worker whom I have come to greatly respect and who has taught me so much about the work in our jobs, taught me something without knowing it today. During a meeting he sent me a message. "Write drunk, edit sober - Hemingway." Actually a very valid quote, but I wouldn't recommend it for work emails or writings.
